LOST.eu adds Vigoss

Posted Image

No, you have not opened a troll thread. With the loss of Miracle, LOST.eu have had no problem filling the gaps as they have recruited the world renowned Vigoss to play as a stand-in until their final 5th player is found.

Arguably the most famous DotA player of all time, Vigoss won the hearts and minds of his fans through his innovative gank-style gameplay, which was both breathtaking and awe-inspiring. He made appearences for household names such as maGe, Virtus.pro and KS.Int and played with players along the lines of Jolie, LightOfHeaven and Vein. Vigoss slowly started to fade away following the disintergration of Virtus.pro and hasn't been seen since.

Earlier this year there was a great deal of speculation as a "vigoss" appeared in various EEDL games playing trademark heroes such as Queen of Pain and Priestess of the Moon. This was written off by many as a "troll", but with the addition of vigoss to LOST.eu's official roster on a number of websites, fans can safely assume that their beloved V-God is back.

LOST.eu's current roster:

Andreas 'Ducky' Søgaard (captain)
Rasmus 'MiSeRy-' Filipsen
Jon '13abyKnight' Andersen
Alex 'Santa' Koltan
Ivan 'Vigoss' Shinkarev (stand-in)

Statement by Ducky...

"This is not a joke - but as the picture clearly states he is a standin. Vigoss has been playing with us recently and been doing extremely well. That's why we didn't hesitate to ask him to fill the gap that mirakel left in our roster. The reason for him not to stand as a regular member is that he isn't sure wether he wants to join the "pro" dota scene again. He still wants to play with us in scrims as well as official games and that's why we added him to the roster as a "stand-in". I beg of you guys to settle down and let vigoss think about what to do - this is his choice, he is more then welcome in the team, but if he chooses not to join the competative scene then its a choice we should respect.
We hope of course vigoss chooses to come back to dota, so we can present him as a regular member of the team, but for now and as long as it will take him to choose he will stay as a standin at our rooster.
We will also be representing a 6th man soon, our goal is to be as active as possible so that we can make the appropriate preparations for the upcoming LANs.
Hope you will keep supporting us, and respect the situation.

Thx all. Ducky "

This unforgettable addition to LOST.er's roster is just in time for the first match in the Showmatch Series hosted by GosuGamers.net and dota.178.com. Be sure to tune in to watch the legendary Vigoss back in action!

Despite having suffered some sponsorship issues in its previous season, The European Elite DotA League has come back bigger and better, with new sponsors and a greatly increased prize pool for its fourth season.

Participants of EEDL Season 4 will be pleased to find that the new prize pool will be $900 -- more than double the $400 from season 3 -- with first place receiving as much as the entirety of the previous season's cash pool.

First place will be awarded $400, second place $250, third place $150; $50 will be awarded to the player with the most games under his belt. Additionally, there will be an incentive prize of $50 for the admin voted as "most active and mannered."

EEDL would like to congratulate all of the Season 3 prize winners. We would also like to wish everyone participating good luck with Season 4. More information following Season 4 implements will follow soon! So stay tuned.

Besides that, EEDL CW and EEDL tournament will launch as well! We are very disappointed that G-store.gr did not stick to their agreement in providing us some prize money for Season 3, and we are dropping this sponsor as an outcome of this. We are sure this is best for our league.

We hope you enjoy our fourth edition as much as the previous ones. May the best win and good luck to all of you!

Best regards,
EEDL Staff

Miracle leaves LOST.eu

Posted Image

Another roster change occurs in the DotA scene. This time Miracle leaves LOST.eu and joins up with the ex-Nirvana gang, now known as New World Order.

Swedish star, Miracle has chosen to leave LOST.eu and join up with his former teammates, KuroKy and Puppey, in a bid to resurrect the old Ks.Int days this time under the name New World Order.

Miracle's departure from LOST.eu to WORLD was done under mutual agreement and the team is already searching a suitable replacement for Miracle.

Statement from Ducky, Leader for LOST.eu
-"Miracle has been missing the Ks.Int time for a long now. Finally the offer came, and we at LOST.eu won't stand in his way. He always admired Puppey a lot and it was his time to move on. Hope he will do good with Puppey and co, and for once their team will last long. I'm also happy to see Miracle and Pajkatt together now, may the best EU team win. Can't wait to battle them."

Statement from Miracle
-"My days in LOST are now over, the biggest reason behind me leaving is motivation. Since the team reformed it became harder for me to keep my own playstyle and with it the joy to play DotA. And as for my new team, we have great potential with some of Europe's greatest players and can hopefully go head to head with the Asians soon enough. I wish all the best for my former teammates and friends, we had a good run with loads of fun and I'm sure you will keep it up.

Current Roster for New World Order:
Kuro 'KuroKy' Salehi Takhasomi (captain)
Taewon 'March' Par
Nikola 'Azen' Belyakov
Clement 'Puppey' Ivanov
Pelle 'Pajkatt' Olsson-Lille
Jesper 'Miracle' Nyhlén
